IP versus traditional wiring

Traditional systems run on dedicated cabling and are perfectly reliable for straightforward installations. IP door entry runs over structured network cabling, which makes it far easier to add app answering, multiple internal stations, remote management and integration with CCTV and access control. In refurbishments we often reuse existing risers to keep disruption and cost down — we survey first and tell you which route makes sense.

Fire safety interfaces

Where entry doors form part of an escape route, electric locking must release on a fire alarm signal. This interface is a common failure point in buildings where door entry and fire alarms were installed by different contractors. Because we do both, we commission and test the interaction properly — and we re-verify it at every service visit.

Repairs and takeovers

We repair and replace failed entry systems in occupied blocks, including obsolete panels where parts are no longer available, and can phase replacement to keep the building secure throughout.
